The difference between a reverse lunge and forward lunge: The Difficulty level
The forward lunge is harder as the centre of gravity shifts when you go forward. In comparison the reverse lunge is not as difficult because the centre of gravity stays the same.
Give them both a go and feel the difference for yourself.
Primary muscles (for both options): Quadriceps, Gluteus, Hamstrings
