The difference between a 90-90 lunge vs. Quad lunge.
A Quad lunge helps going stairs and walking. Whereas a 90-90 lunge will have more glute involvement and best for clients with troubled knees. The 90-90 is easier because there is less range of motion of the knee on the lead leg (front leg).
Primary muscles (for both options): Quadriceps, Gluteus, Hamstrings
