Exercises for Clients with Lower Back Pain (3 Hours)

This course covers the fundamentals of lower back anatomy, common types of lower back pain, and exercises to improve spine stabilization.

Course Objectives:

  1. Understand basic lower back anatomy, common lower back conditions, causes and their associated signs and symptoms
  2. Understand when to refer clients for medical clearance to carry out training program
  3. Learn about safe targeted exercises and progression for clients with lower back pain

Introduction To Exercise Nutrition (3 Hours)

An introductory workshop to exercise nutrition. Being physically active and nourishing the body with healthy food are both equally important in leading a healthy lifestyle. In this workshop, you will be introduced to all the macronutrients by looking at ‘what are they’, ‘why do you need them’, ‘how much do you need’ and ‘which are the best sources’.

Course Objectives:

  1. Develop a profound grasp of nutrition science
  2. Equip yourself with practical skills to improve client’s eating habits based on general evidence based non-medical nutritional practices

 

Postural Analysis & Correction (3 Hours)

Discover 3 common postural deviations and possible exercises to manage these conditions

Course Objectives:

  1. Understand the difference between joint stability & mobility
  2. Identify 3 common postural deviation patterns, causes and analysis methods
  3. Identify the possible overactive and underactive muscles
  4. Implement postural correction exercise programming to manage those muscle imbalances

     

 

Pre and Post Natal Exercises
(3 Hours)

Discover the benefits, do’s and don’ts of staying active during this important period of a woman’s life, and learn how to perform pre and post-natal specific exercises.

Course Objectives:

  1. The do’s and don’ts to exercises during the pre and post-partum period
  2. Learn exercises that makes mum stronger in their daily activities
  3. Sample pre and post-partum training program according to trimesters
