How to Update Your CEC Points?

Congratulations! Now you are an ACE Certified!

As you would know, as an accredited certification, we need to maintain our certification over time. Every 2 year, we will need to collect enough CEC points to renew our certification.

First step is to attend an ACE Approved workshop or course that has CEC Points. It can be a live workshop or online, as long as there is CEC Points that you will gain once you attended the course. Below is an illustrate of such a course:

Once you have completed the course, you should receive a Certificate of Completion of the course. Certificate can be hard or soft copy.

On this cert, there will be 3 information that you need to update your CEC points (circled in green):

  1. Course Number. In this sample, it is CEP1XXXXX.
  2. CEC Amount, 1.2 CEC in this example.
  3. Last but not least, the date of completion. As for this example, course ended August 17th, 2019. Remember, month, date then year.

To update your CEC points, you will then need log into your ACE account, which was created prior to your ACE exam. Here is the link to the login page: www.acefitness.org/myace/login 

Once you successfully logged into your account, you automatically go to your Dashboard (shown in the illustrated red box).

Under the header Manage My CECs (marked by the blue arrow), click Enter and Track My CECs. You will then go to the page below.

In the red square, you will then insert the 3 information and click Add Course. The course will then be updated as illustrated below by the blue arrow.

You have now successfully updated your CEC points!
